A Few New Things
First off, we put in a new sliding glass patio door on pickerel and are planning on adding a porch to the front of it as well. Pictures from that job are posted here.
Brendan put up new siding on Trout, so all pictures of Trout on the site have been replaced to show the new and improved look of the cabin. Check out the upgrade here.
I also put up a new sunset picture here.
There are also various pictures around the site that have been replaced because they were outdated and everything around the camp looks much better now. I had to take off the pictures from the Muskie deck on Muskie's page because they aren't current. The next time I go home I will be sure to get new pictures of the seawall from Muskie's deck and hopefully from Pickerel's deck.
The season is almost over now, so you probably won't hear from me again until the spring. The whole Wolf Ridge staff thanks you again for helping to make our second season on the river a huge success. We hope to see you again next year.

The New Playgym
After weeks of labor on the part of the Wolf Ridge staff we are pleased to bring you the newest addition to our already family-friendly resort: a new playgym.

The play area also includes a sand box made from an old boat we had that is no longer sea-worthy. The play area gives kids a place to enjoy themselves safely during their stay with us.

A Whole New Design
After several days of diligent web design work I've finally finished the new layout and design of the site. Every graphic element of the site is now entirely original.
I've also overhauled several of the pages. The About Us page now has several areas of text that, if you put your mouse over them, display different pictures illustrating the Fremont and Wolf Ridge Cottages experience.
The Pictures section is new. Throughtout the season I will be posting new pictures taken at Wolf Ridge and around Fremont. If you have any digital pictures that you've taken while here please feel free to email them to me. I would love to post them.
A nice addition to the Contact page is a new link. Simply click on the link and it will take you to the new Google Maps website. All you need to do is type in your address and you can easily get directions to or from Wolf Ridge.
I hope that the new website adds both form and function so that we can continue to serve the needs of our returning and prospective customers. Thank you for coming and best wishes from everyone at Wolf Ridge.

The White Bass Are Running
White Bass season is in full swing this week. Eddie and Moe Cieclak got a nice haul yesterday:

We haven't gotten a definitive count from Moe yet, but most of us were guessing 60 or more. Another of our customers caught 50 or 60 yesterday as well, he could hardly get the line back into the water before getting another bite. Good luck to everyone fishing on the Wolf River this season, we hope the haul gets even better.

A Big Wild Turkey
So my brother, Brendan, was driving home this morning and hit a giant wild turkey.

Now that's a big bird. Congratulations Brendan on a successful hunt!

Updated About Us Page
There has been some confusion because of the first picture that was up on the "about us" page. People thought that the couple in that picture were my parents (Ellen and Jay Marston), but they were actually friends of ours that I had a good picture of. I've replace the picture with one of Jay, Brendan, Glen, and me working on a boat; trying to get ready for the new season.
I haven't tested this site on any web browsers other than Internet Explorer, so if anyone looking at this uses Safari or Mozilla or any other browser, please let me know if there are any display problems. I will fix them as quickly as I can, thank you.

Welcome to our new website designed by our youngest, Cameron. We've worked hard to provide all of the information we think our customers need, but if, in our limited wisdom, we've forgotten something all you need to do is visit our Contact Us page and email or call us.
